A joint Plans Panel Meeting in Leeds has discussed the potential for introducing a cumulative impact approach to take-aways and charity shops which could lead to new planning guidance for town centres. Every woman with any vague interest in staying fit will have heard of Zumba.

Like all good fitness crazes, Zumba has swept through the nation with such rapidity that it's impossible not to be even mildly interested in what secret recipe is making the dance class so popular.

As a bit of a dance aficionado, I admit I was sceptical - just another craze? I've tried them all...

There was a time when Skoda was the butt of many jokes, an Eastern European manufacturer with such "classics" as the rear-engined Estelle in its portfolio. Nowadays it's a twinkling jewel in the crown that is the Volkswagen-Audi Group boasting an offering of quality vehicles at reasonable prices.

Sitting in the middle of their line-up is the Octavia, a car that shares much with that doyenne...

Eyebrow threading originated in India and has in fact been around for centuries. It involves twisting a piece o...

Testing times....

Posted by Newsdesk on November 9, 2011 at 7:25 AM Comments comments (0)

These are testing times for the economy, locally here in Morley as well as nationally and internationally. Unemployment continues to rise and there’s been little or no growth in the economy for many months now. Yet it’s only by having people in work and paying taxes (rather than claiming benefits) that we can really start to get Britain’s deficit down.

And with January’s VAT...
